New Episodes Teed up for Fall
I'm so excited about the great lineup of shows we have as the podcast returns for the Fall:
Look for discussions with several different widowed parents who had complicated situations and relationships when their spouses died. This is something I’ve been asked by listeners to talk more about, so I'm grateful these folks have been so open about their experiences.
I’m looking forward to talking with one of the coauthors of the late Dr. Ruth’s new book about reducing loneliness. When I heard the US Surgeon General say in an interview recently that over 3/4 of all single parents today are experiencing loneliness, I knew I needed to speak with them. And that number – 3/4 – is all types of single parents. I have no idea what the number might be if they looked at only the widowed parents in that group – but my guess is it would be higher.
Plus more terrific episodes coming up, including some special ones for Children’s Grief Awareness Month in November
Everything starts today with a 9/11 anniversary episode
