Keisha Blair on 'Holistic Wealth' After Loss
“Know that this is hard. It’s going to be difficult in the beginning, but there’s a light at the end of the tunnel and you will smile again and mean it. I remember when I used to smile, it felt fake and I felt like I had to — the smile just didn’t feel genuine. And I want you to know that the time will come when all of that feels genuine from your heart.”
— Keisha Blair
I had such a great discussion with Keisha Blair for this episode. Keisha was 31 when her husband passed away suddenly, just eight weeks after the birth of their second child. Keisha lives in Ottawa, Canada, and she has written a brand-new book called “Holistic Wealth: 32 Life Lessons to Help You Find Purpose, Prosperity, and Happiness.”
Some topics Keisha and I discuss include:
Being widowed with a toddler and a new baby;
Taking a sabbatical after loss;
Returning to the workplace;
Having one son with memories of his dad, and one son too young to remember him;
The importance of creating a personal mission statement; and
What is ‘holistic wealth,’ including Keisha’s tips for this.
I hope you enjoy my discussion with Keisha Blair.
